a word of advice...

"whatever you do, once you start posting, don't stop"
The wise words of esteemed wordsmith beefbagel, spoken to mediaroar not three weeks ago.

I'm sorry - I've been away, and busy, and away again.

mediaroar was not entirely surprised to find out that some people are clearly quite mad.

4 (four) people saw fit to complain about multi-national TV maker Sony, for making an advert that 'evokes terrorism':

exhibit 'A'.

The advert - a follow up to 'the one with all them balls in san francisco' shows a tower block in Glasgow being spattered with over 70,000 litres of paint. distributed by 1,700 detonators, 455 mortars, 622 bottle bombs and several large mugs of tea.

mediaroar likes this advert - well, mediaroar is happy to tolerate this advert, and the last thing I could think of when watching it was Osama and friends..
Indeed, the advert didn't muster any feelings save for: 'how the f**k much did that cost to make?!'

Fortunately, the complaint was thrown out by the gods at the Advertising Standards Agency.

Both Sony, and the ad company Fallon have reiterated that the building featured was indeed empty , ready for demolition and that no animals were harmed during filming. mediaroar wonders if Damien Hirst may copy this and sell it to the old mug who buys anything esteemed mr Saatchi for a song...

mediaroar would like to reiterate that the 4 (four) people who complained should fuck off and get some perspective take time to really consider how they spend their time. Fuckwits.

grrrr x
